Fall Color Tours at Dodgen Aircraft

While Dodgen Aircraft offers aircraft rides throughout the year, Fall is a great time of the year to take a color tour ride. Dodgen Aircraft based at the Allegan Airport is in the perfect place to offer fantastic hour long color tours over the Allegan State Game Area. While most of Michigan offers great color tour rides, the Allegan State Game Area offers a large expanse of heavily wooded areas that can offer some of the best color viewing in the Lower Peninsula.

The Allegan State Game Area is over 50,000 acres of wooded area that turns into a color extravaganza in the fall. Passing through the Allegan State Game Area is a long expanse of the Kalamazoo River, some of its flood plains, backwaters, and wildlife refuges. On most of our flights we see a great deal of wildlife ranging from swans, to ducks, geese, and deer.

Take an opportunity to take this ride with one of our instructors. An hour flight for up to 3 passengers is just $112.00. The view from the air will offer you a unique chance to see the colors of the fall in a way that most people never see or that you may not have seen. Even if you have seen it from the air before, you can always do so again!

Our normal ride travels from the Allegan Airport up to Holland, down the lakeshore to Saugatuck and South Haven, then back across the expansive Allegan State Game area to the Allegan Airport. We can easily accommodate circling for pictures and your viewing pleasure or travel to other areas outside of our normal route if you would like to see something specific.

Call us today for more information or to schedule a time for a ride as we get closer and closer to peak color season in our area.
