IFR Mandatory Reporting Points

- When airspeed increases or decreases by 10 knots or 5%, which ever is greater.
- Leaving any assigned altitude.
- If your aircraft is unable to maintain a climb of 500 feet per minute or more.
- Reaching a holding fix.
- Any navigational equipment malfunctions (even if not necessary for the navigation presently conducting).
- Any un-forecast weather conditions.
- Reaching any fixes used to define your route of flight in non-radar environment.
- Passing the FAF in a non-radar environment.
- Missed approach.
