In addition to being the owner and an instructor at Dodgen Aircraft, Jason Blair is a FAA designated pilot examiner.  Dodgen Aircraft is truly a one stop shop for all of your aviation needs.  You can not only train with one of our qualified instructors, take your written tests with one of our proctors on the Lasergrade system, but you can also take your practical pilot test with our on-staff designated pilot examiner.  This allows you to quickly and easily schedule your practical test as soon as you and your instructor feel you are ready.

A unique opportunity for applicants is the ability to pay with a Credit Card.  Practical tests can be billed through Dodgen Aircraft, allowing you the use of a credit card for payment.  This also offers the security of credit card payment through an established and secure company.  We also accept cash or check like other examiners.

Jason offers practical tests at the Allegan or Hastings airports, but is more than willing to travel to an applicant within the Grand Rapids Flight Standards District Office area of operations.  Just ask, accommodations to administer your next practical test at your home airport can be made.

Jason is experienced in a wide variety of aircraft including tailwheel, high performance, complex, and more.  He is also a NAFI Master CFI and a Gold Seal Instructor.  He has a flexible schedule and is willing to offer practical tests 7 days a week to best accommodate your schedule.

For practical tests that Jason is not authorized to administer yet, we maintain contact with a number of local FAA designated pilot examiners are able to conduct any practical test you need to complete.  West Michigan has a highly qualified and experienced group of designated pilot examiners and we are proud to be able to recommend you to any of them.
